Work In Progress: Projects Financial Overview

This new report combines the WIP data and data from the Financial Overview reports for all Projects in the WIP

Who is impacted by this update?

Anybody who views or manages high level Project Financials. Typically, Operations Managers, Project Accountants, Controllers and Admins.

Why would you use it?

This new report includes lots of financial data from many projects combined into one report. Since it downloads as a CSV file, you can use the data in excel however needed. 

How to use this feature

You must have access to the WIP tab in the Projects menu. Go to Projects > WIP tab> View icon > Projects Financial Overview. Since this report has a lot of data it will prompt you to enter a valid email address and the report will be downloaded and emailed to you.

Additional details

Keep in mind you will receive two tickets: one confirming receipt of the download, and a followup with the report ready to download. This report expires after 7 days, so be sure to download it before then. 

Submittals: Review and Answer Shortcut

RedTeam users can now use two new shortcuts to “Review” and “Answer” multiple Submittal Items at the same time from the Workflow.

Who is impacted by this update?

Anybody who managed Submittals, typically Project Managers, Project Coordinators, Project Engineers, and Admins.

Why would you use it?

These shortcuts make loading data for Submittals into the RedTeam Project faster, by not having to load one-by-one. Particularly for the “Review” process which must be done in RedTeam by the Contractor, this shortcut will bring all Items available to be reviewed into the same screen for quick update. 

How to use this feature

Go to any Project with Submittals and you will see the “Answer” and “Review” buttons in the Workflow so long as you have Submittal Items available and ready to be “Answered” or “Reviewed” by you.

This update is similar to the “Receive” Submittals previously released.

Project Checklists: Upload Attachments

This update to Project Checklists allows users to upload Attachments to their Project Checklists, much like they can do with Progress Reports.

Who is impacted by this update?

Anybody who fills out Project Checklists, typically Project Superintendents, Site Managers, and Project Managers. 

Why would you use it?

Should you need to attach any file(s) such as a photo, a copy of the jobsite sign-in sheet, or any other forms or docs, you can use this new feature to do so. 

How to use this feature

In order to use this feature, go to a Project Checklist (new or Edit a Draft) and you will see the option to attach files.

Vendors & Contacts: Filter by Contact Verification

If you are using the Contact Verification when adding new Companies and Contacts to RedTeam, you can now filter by the status of these Contact Verifications. 

Who is impacted by this update?

Users who add new Companies and Contacts to your RedTeam database, typically Admins. 

Why would you use it?

To quickly scan and filter your database for Contacts that have not been verified, or have disputed the information entered for them in RedTeam. 

How to use this feature

For Contacts, go to the Contacts menu and click the Filter icon. The new option is called

Additional details

Companies and Contacts that have disputed their information can be updated manually, or from the automatic email that was sent to the user who entered them into RedTeam initially. If you no longer have access to the original email that was sent with the dispute, you can resend the Contact Verification by editing the Contact profile and making sure the Contact Verification option at the top is checked off before you save.
